More than 600 dancers registered to take part in last weekend’s festivities as Couchiching First Nation celebrated its annual powwow from Friday, June 27, through Sunday, June 29, 2025 at their powwow grounds. The weekend marked the 32nd annual powwow and saw hundreds of viewers down to the grounds to watch the dancers, listen to the drums and check out local and visiting vendors. Visiting drums included Northern Cree and Whitefish Bay Singers.
