Born August 12, 1932, Lynn Allan passed away January 26, 2026, at the Atikokan Hospital. Although born in Fort Frances, Lynn lived in Emo during his childhood and youth.
He moved to Atikokan shortly after leaving school, where he began working at the Steep Rock Iron Mine. He ended his career working for the Ontario Department of Highways.
While Lynn travelled (mostly in his later years), he lived his entire adult life in Atikokan where he was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge.
Lynn was predeceased by his first wife Iris; his second wife Shirley; and his brother David Allan.

He is survived by his daughter Brenda Meany; as well as his two sisters, Everil Parks and Joan Baggiore. Aside from his many friends and acquaintances in the Atikokan area, Lynn is remembered by his stepchildren Kevin Tennant, Jeff Tennant, Heather Weber; his nephew Robert Parks; and niece Laurie Lynne Houghton.
