The LaVallee Senior’s Picnic held Sunday, September 14, 2025, turned out perfect. This event was held at the Devlin ball park, and those attending the event at the park for the first time were quite impressed, with all that the park had to offer.
This picnic was open to people of all ages from seniors, grandkids and everyone in between and over 80 people showed up from across the district.
The weather was in everyone’s favour. Horseshoes and corn hole were enjoyed by many, even a few balls were hit and bases ran.
The burgers, hotdogs and all the side dishes made for a perfect way to end the day. Topped with ice-cream of course. Many a door prize was won. I’m thinking it’s a definite that this will be a yearly event.

The next Senior’s coffee is September 30.
