Robin’s 2 Cents:
A couple in their nineties are both having trouble remembering things. At a check-up, the doctor says they’re physically fine but should start writing things down.
That night, while watching TV, the husband asks, “Want anything while I’m in the kitchen?”
“Get me a bowl of ice cream,” she says.
“Sure,” he replies.
“Strawberries on top, please,” she adds.
“And whipped cream – don’t forget that,” she insists. “Maybe you should write it down.”
“I don’t need to write it down – ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream, I got it!” he shouts.
Twenty minutes later he returns with a plate of bacon and eggs.
She looks at the plate and asks,
“So? Where’s the toast?!”
