Cindy Homer, along with her children, Jonah and Ashlee, planted beets and peppers in their plot at the Fort Frances Community Garden on Lillie Avenue North for the first Kids’ Garden Club meeting of the season yesterday evening. The club provides everything needed to grow a healthy garden, including the 10’x10′ plots, tools, seeds, and plants. Every week, the kids will have hands-on experience while watching their gardens evolve from tiny seeds to tasty produce. The club meets every Monday from 5-6p.m.
