Colourful burst

colourful burst

Canada Day is never over without the annual show of fireworks over the upper Rainy River and once again hundreds of people gathered along the walkway on Colonization Road East to watch the colourful bursts. Some sat on blankets and lawn chairs, others tried to snag a front row seat from their boats in the water, while still others simply viewed from the car. Throughout the display, hoots and hollers could be heard from the crowd, with a round of applause after the grand finale of fireworks, arranged to represent the Canadian flag.
