I have had the wonderful opportunity to live and raise my family in Emo for the past 25 years.
I have been actively involved in the community for many years, and have had the pleasure of meeting many residents young and old. Emo has been, and will continue to be, an amazing place to live, work, and play.
I’ve been a councillor for the past two years, and have enjoyed learning about the community and how a municipality is operated.
I believe Emo will continue to grow and prosper, and I hope to support and encourage that process.
I’m a firm believer in providing opportunities for families and businesses to help Emo remain a vital hub in the west end of Rainy River District.
This term, I would like to promote Emo as a family town and ensure that Emo continues to provide opportunities for families such as an arena for hockey, figure skating, and family skating.
A library that is up-to-date and ready to help residents enjoy the many things the library continues to offer.
I would like to see the completion of the walking trail to connect our community to our amazing sports field. I also would help work towards the completion of the RV park and new tennis courts.
Emo continues to make many improvements to its infrastructure, such as new watermains to provide safe drinking water throughout the town and the upgrades of roads with in Emo.
I will continue to support these necessary projects to make Emo a vibrant community.
I’m always ready to listen to residents concerns, suggestions, and criticisms.
I hope I can count on your support to bring a family-centered voice to council for the next four years. I look forward to working with the new council to help keep Emo a prosperous community.
