High school registration to begin tomorrow

A week before classes resume, the Fort Frances High School will be open tomorrow through Thursday for new and returning students to pick up their timetables and pay registration fees.
All returning students entering grades 11, 12 and OAC are asked to register tomorrow, Aug. 21 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the atrium area of the FFHS. Students are asked to use the school’s main entrance.
Registration for grade 10 students will take place Wednesday, Aug. 22 at the same time, with grade 9 registration to follow Thursday, Aug. 23.
Students who have not yet completed course selection sheets, or are new to FFHS, must meet with school administration at the Main Office before registering.
All students are advised that registration fees must be paid when timetables are picked up. Timetables will be withheld until all fees are paid and outstanding debts for library books, equipment, and textbooks are cleared.
Registration fees for 2001-2002 are as follows: For grade 9 students, those new to FFHS from other schools, and those who have previously withdrawn their caution fee, the total cost is $50 including textbook caution, activity, and yearbook fees.
All other students must pay $25 to cover activity and yearbook fees.
Information about the next Driver Education Course will also be available at the main office during registration. The course begins in early September, and costs $425.
The first day of classes for students is next Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 8:45 a.m.
