Many people effected by the flooding may not have had overland flood and sewer back up coverage for various reason. Reason can be cost of the coverage can be too high, some areas are not eligible for the coverage and policy limits that may have been exceeded.
Causeway owner John Homer and town official Pat Briere visited some of the homes effected by the flooding with officials from the province to try and bring extra relief to people who did not have the insurance coverage. We are happy to say the funding has been approve.
