The Emo and District Lions are looking for volunteers from the community to help with the site preparation and installation of the new playground equipment at the ball diamond in Devlin.
If you can lend a hand, or bring some equipment please email the Lions at lloydlovelace@bell.net
If you’re a ball player, a parent, grandparent or just want to see this project completed please think about donating a few hours of your time.
The equipment is scheduled to arrive the week of Aug. 12.
Help the Lions build a fantastic accessible playground for all the children of the district.
Together we can make a difference.

A big “thank you” goes out to the residents of the Golden Age Manor from the Diabetes Canada donation program.
Last week, many of the people in the manor decluttered their homes and gathered their donations in the Common Room to await pick up by the Diabetes Canada workers.
There were no other phone calls to the Diabetes office in Thunder Bay, but the donations from the Golden Age residents were greatly appreciated.
Another pick-up day is scheduled for Emo in August. If you would like to donated clothing or household items, please call, 1 800 505 5525 or 623 0887.
Information about the pick-up day and time will be available when you phone.
Simply put your clothing in a bag or your items in a box, mark it with a “D” and put it outside for pick-up on the appointed day.
