All monies raised assist Emo Hospital projects. The Auxiliary would like to thank all people who support the Emo and district Auxiliary.
St. Patrick’s Church in Emo will host a traditional Irish Supper on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17). The menu consists of Loin of bacon (smoked pork loin) served with creamy cabbage, mashed potatoes and all the sides.

Good news and congratulations to Nikita and her owner Sue Jones
The two travelled to Brandon (earlier this month) and Nikita earned her Masters Level in Rally obedience.
Congratulations to Tom and Shirley Morrish in their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 26. All six children will be home to share this milestone with them. Our rural communities wish you many more years of marriage and happiness.
I’m happy to report that Cindy Westover has returned to her home on Emo. Cindy spent over two weeks in a Thunder Bay Hospital and then a month in Fort Frances Hospital. She is continuing her recovery at home.
Cindy was in a tragic car accident on Jan. 7.
Our community continues to send Cindy and all the families who suffered a great loss in the passing of Jean Steele.
There will not be “beer and burgers” this Friday at the Emo Legion. This event will resume March 6.
A sure sign of spring is turning our clocks ahead. This takes place March 8 this year.
