Thundershowers possible tonight


We’re in for a mixed bag today, weather-wise. We’ll have a mix of sun and cloud, with a 70 per cent chance of showers, and possibly thundershowers through the evening and overnight. High today is 13 C (55 F). Tonight’s low is 5 C (41 F).
We’ll have to be each other’s rays of sunshine for Wednesday. It will be a grey day, with a 70 per cent chance of rain, with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon. Wear a well-fitting hat – the winds will be gusty, up to 40 km/hr. The expected high will be 11 (55) with a low of 3 (37) with a 60 per cent chance of showers over Wednesday night.
More clouds and showers are expected Thursday. A 40 per cent chance of rain, with a high of 8 (46). Thursday night could bring more showers, but as the low dips to -2 (28), those showers could turn to flurries, which could continue into Friday morning. There’s a 40 per cent chance of precipitation for Friday afternoon, with a high of 6 (43). Friday night should see the gloomy weather begin to break. There will be a low of 0 (32), with some cloudy periods.
The weekend is currently forecast to be a lovely mix of sun and clouds, with highs of 8 (46) and 11 (52), and nighttime lows of 1 (34) and 3(37) on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Let’s hope that holds. The long range forecast calls for Monday to be up to 14 (57) with a sun and cloud mix.
