The demolition of the Fort Frances mill continues, in what’s expected to be an 18-22 month process. Canadian National Demolitions is handling the tear-down of the former Resolute facility. Workers are being housed at a camp on the municipal airport grounds, to limit their exposure to local citizens. Employees at the camp are being catered, and provided with linen and laundry services from local businesses. Several structures on the property may yet be repurposed or sold. Demolition permits have been issued for the paper mill building, the LAP building, the new wood room and the ground wood building.
