Joanne Davis, a child development worker at the Family and Children’s Services office here, demonstrated some of the items in the multi-sensory room that officially was opened there Wednesday. The small white room, filled with shimmering lights, soothing music, delightful aromas, and a variety of textured objects, is designed to engage and stimulate the senses of individuals with disabilities and developmental delays.
