The Town of Fort Frances has been assembling a barricade of sandbags at the waterfront to protect infrastructure in the event of a flood. Water levels continue to rise, with more rain expected in the forecast. Wednesday brings a risk of thunderstorms, and 5-10 mm of rain anticipated. Thursday and Friday could bring another 20 mm, with a chance of snow on Friday night, as temperatures dip close to freezing.
