Dahlia and Violet Kaun leapt past the point of no return during the Voyageur Lions Club’s annual Polar Plunge out front of La Place Rendez-Vous yesterday afternoon. The girls were representing Rainy River District Animal Rescue for the plunge, and raised $365 in pledges. Overall, the event raised more than $8,000 across 12 different groups for the Voyageurs Lions Club and other local charities.
