A group of Rainy River Field Naturalist Club members and volunteers began laying in cedar back on Sept. 29 to extend the boardwalk at the Cranberry Peatlands Interpretive Trail in Alberton by 330 feet to total close to 1,000 feet in all. The project was supported by funding provided from the Toronto Dominion Friends of the Enviroment and the Rainy River Stewardship Council.
