The Muskie Boys Junior and Senior basketball teams have reached the end of their season, earning silver at NorWOSSA in Dryden last weekend.
The junior Muskie boys, above, beat Dryden easily in their semi-final basketball match on Friday morning but injuries from that game and earlier in the season made it hard to stop a Sioux North Warriors’ comeback in the fourth quarter of the final.
The boys lost a tough match by one point, 43-42.
The senior Muskie boys’ basketball team, left, mounted a ferocious comeback of their own after going down early but it was not to be. A hot three-point shooter from Beaver Brae knocked them down and out and a last chance try from the three-point line to tie it up was unsuccessful in the dying second.
