Women attending the 2019 Luncheon of Hope listened to guest speaker Christa Heibel following the lunch on Saturday at the Copper River Inn. Elizabeth Leishman-Fortes, the emcee for the luncheon, had said the organization worried about whether the luncheon still had relevance in the community, but admitted to the crowd at the end of the event that the turnout to the luncheon had proved that there was still a need and desire for it.
