Dimit Bus Lines Ltd. once again went all out to decorate its buses for the annual “Day of Pink” yesterday–a day where communities can unite in celebrating diversity while raising awareness to stop all forms of bullying, including homophobia, transphobia, and transmisogyny. Many of the drivers volunteered their time to decorate every one of the 14 school buses with signs bearing messages such as “Bullying stops here” and “Play nice! Pink Shirt Day.” The interiors also were decorated with balloons, pennants, and streamers. “We do this every year, and really think it’s an important day and message to send to the students and everyone,” Shannon Carlson of Dimit Bus Lines told the Times.
