Men’s group holding church service

“Gods Great Outdoors” will be having their fifth-annual church service followed by a fish fry at the beach at North West Bay, Naicatchwenin First Nation on July 7, 2019 at 10 a.m.
A bus will pick people up at the Christian Reform Church in Emo at 8:45 a.m. and at Dev-Lynne’s store in Devlin at 9 a.m.
The guest speaker for the event will be Pastor Kasey VanderVeen.
There will be a free will offering for the fish fry. Everyone is welcome.

The Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary cordially invites you to attend their annual “Strawberry Social” which will be held in the Emo Hospital Cafeteria.
They will be serving strawberry shortcake, tea and coffee on Friday, June 14 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Admission to this event is $5 at the door. Funds raised will go to Auxiliary projects within the hospital.
The members would like to thank the community and surrounding district for their continued support of the Emo Hospital.

The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #99 would like to thank everyone who attended the Pat Porter evening of music and dancing on June 7.
Members of the Legion were pleased with the attendance and the support they received from people across the district.

The Emo Speedway needs volunteers for the June 15 racing weekend.
The jobs are as follows: spotters, one person with first aid for ambulance, pit canteen, one for 50/50, apparel sales, tow truck, and helper in main canteen.

The Emo Spray Park is unfortunately not working at this time.
Watch for announcements online for when it will be functioning again.
Until then, parents with young children are welcome to bring their children down to the Lions Park for a day of playing on the equipment.
