Just some of the hundreds upon hundreds of bee colonies that have been scattered around the west end of the Rainy River District this summer. Many of the colonies have already been collected and moved out as the bloom on the canola fields wanes as the crop sets seed. Electrified bear fences have been keeping the bruins at bay.
