Times accepting Santa letters again

Santa’s little elves are waiting anxiously for Christmas wishes from district children and the Fort Frances Times wants to make sure they get them on time.
Kids of all ages can drop off their letters to Santa at the Fort Frances Times and we’ll get them to the North Pole again this year.
Those who can’t make it to the office can always mail their letters to the Fort Frances Times, 116 First St. E., Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3M7.
Children also can send their wish lists by e-mail at santa@fortfrances.com or clicking on the letters to Santa icon at www.fortfrances.com
“I just love reading e-mails,” Santa Claus said from the North Pole this morning. “They’re so ho, ho, ho much fun.”
Santa reported elves in his workshops are working around the clock to get ready for the big day.
But he added they can’t be exactly sure what toys they need to make until he gets his letters, so he urged everyone to get their wish lists in as soon as they can.
“Reading letters is one of my favourite things to do,” Santa chuckled.
“I love when they tell me all about their family, their little brothers and sisters. I also love hearing all the neat stories from children,” jolly St. Nick added.
Remember, all letters have to be dropped off by Wednesday, Dec. 11. That’s when the reindeer will swing by the Times to pick up the bags of letters and e-mails and take them back to the North Pole.
Copies of the letters to Santa also will be published in the Fort Frances Times on Dec. 18.
