The Grand Council Treaty #3 has announced the winners for its weekly online science fair, and the theme for next week.
“The Education Department would like to say Miigwech to everyone that submitted their creative science projects using the theme ‘Climate Change’. Everyone did a great job!” said the Grand Council’s website.
All members of the Treaty #3 community aged six and over can submit an entry. Prized include trampolines, game consoles, camping bear, bikes and cash.
This week’s theme is Biodiversity/ ecosystems. For example, medicines from different plants and animals, Growth and changes in plants, sustainable ecosystems and human activity, and habitats and communities.
Submissions are in video or photovoice format, and should be a maximum of five minutes long, and e-mailed to edu.assistant@treaty3.ca. Age categories are: 6-12, 13-18, 19+.
