MAP session planned

The OPP is looking for more First Nation recruits and the Mentoring for Aboriginal People (MAP) program is a starting point, with a session planned Monday night at the Seven Generations Educational Institute at Couchiching.
The MAP program is a training and information session designed to assist people interested in a career in policing.
Besides providing an overview of the OPP hiring process, volunteer teachers will be on hand to provide instruction on math and English that are components of the constable selection process.
This presentation will be facilitated by Sgt. Wilson from the recruitment branch of the OPP.
All those interested in a career in policing are encouraged to attend the session, which is scheduled to run from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
