After three days of baseball playing in extreme heat, the winning team of this year’s Kingsley Downs/Gus Lindberg memorial slo-pitch tournament was the Hit Squad.
They beat Charlie’s Angels 17-10 in the ‘A’ side final.
Winning the ‘B’ side was Shade over Village People, while the ‘C’ finals went to River Rat after they beat Northwest Bay.
Eight teams competed in the tournament. All went great.
Thanks to all the volunteers. A special thanks to Tompkins Hardware for the use of a four-wheeler.
This is the 16th year of the Kingsley Downs/Gus Lindberg memorial slo-pitch tournament.
I’m sure many more will be enjoyed.
