First Halloween drive-thru set to roll out at Library

Press Release

The Fort Frances Legion Ladies Auxiliary BR#29, and the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre, and their many partners are pleased to announce that A CHILDREN’S HALLOWE’EN DRIVE THRU AND VIRTUAL PARTY will be taking place on Hallowe’en Night, Saturday October 31, 2020.
The Festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the library parking lot. Vehicles with Trick-or-Treaters will be directed to six other locations throughout the town of Fort Frances to collect candy. The fun doesn’t stop there. The party continues online @ 7:00 p.m. when a virtual party will take place on the Legion Ladies Auxiliary BR#29 Facebook page. Registration is required on the Facebook page. Prizes will be awarded for decorated vehicles and costumes and there will be games and a scavenger hunt during the online party. Parents are asked to post pictures of their child in costume and their decorated vehicle on the Legion Ladies Auxiliary Facebook page to qualify for prizes. Please follow the Facebook page prior to the event so you can join in the fun.
In order to keep everyone safe, we ask that everyone remain in their vehicle unless asked to get out. Please follow the directions you are given at the library and don’t follow other cars to their location. Although the fun begins @ 4:30 p.m., you have until 6:30 p.m. to finish the entire route so please, stagger your time of arrival at the library.
