The Emo Auxiliary is hosting their annual fall tea, bazaar and bake sale at the Emo Legion this Friday (Oct. 18) from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Admission is $5. Donations would be greatly appreciated.
Monies raised will assist the auxiliary’s projects at the Emo hospital.
This is always a fun, socializing event and supports a great cause in our community.

A reminder that the “Tribute to Stompin’ Tom ” takes place this weekend at the Royal Canadian Legion in Emo.
Tom’s son, Taw Connors, will perform a tribute to his father.
The evening tribute begins at 7 p.m.
The cost is $30. Tickets can be purchased at the Legion or Tompkins Hardware.
Call the Legion at 482-2250 for more information.
This show was held earlier in the year to a sold-out crowd. It was an extremely good show.

Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Phil Mitchell.
Phil was a friendly, outgoing soul.
Always took time to talk and ask how you were doing. He will be missed by many.
Our community is thinking of the family at this sad time.
