The March Break is nearly upon us

All students in the RR District will enjoy a March break next week. The holiday begins March 16 and students will have all week off. Here’s hoping all kids have a great break, and parents survive.
The Guthrie United Church Spring Fling Tea and Bake Sale takes place March 24. This enjoyable day takes place at the Devlin Hall from 2-3:30 p.m.
Draws begin at 3 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults, $2 for youth, and five and under pay no admission.
Desserts, penny table, a bake table, and a cookie walk will all be part of the enjoyable afternoon.
The Emo Hospital Auxiliary will hold their annual Shamrock Tea and Bake Sale Friday, March 13 in the Hospital Cafeteria from 1-3 p.m.
Admission is $5 and helps support the work and projects of the Auxiliary in the Emo Hospital. Come out and enjoy tea, coffee and refreshments and enjoy socializing. There will be baking and goodies.
Sincere sympathy to Becky Kupila and her family on the passing of Becky’s father Alexander Gebany.

Also sympathy to Harold and Karen Kellar and their family in the passing in the passing of Harold’s brother-in-law Ray Cousineau. Sympathy is extended to all the Cousineau family at this sad time. Ray passed after a battle with cancer.
There will be Beer and Burgers at the Emo Legion this Friday night, March 13. Also, there will be a Country Jam session held Friday evening.
Tickets for the CCR tribute to be held at the Emo Legion on April 4 have been sold out.
Tickets for the St. Patrick’s Church Traditional Irish supper to be held March 17 (advanced tickets only) are now only available at Gillan’s in Emo.
The individual sellers have sold all their tickets. If you wish to attend pick up your ticket soon as it will be a sold out event.
