Emo Food Bank still supplying food

Despite the COVID pandemic the Emo Food Bank has managed to supply food to those needing it.

The Food Bank is available to those requiring it the first and third Wednesday of the month (with the next one January 20th.)

Changes that have been made are those picking up a food box are asked to knock on the door and your order will be brought out. Curbside pick up is the best way to keep all safe.

Masks must be worn by volunteers plus those picking up a food box. Organizers at seeing a consistent amount of boxes being needed every month.

The Thrift store is closed to the public until further notice.

There is a food box (in the lobby) at Cloverleaf Grocers for anyone wanting to make donations to the Food Bank.

The Municipality of LaVallee would like to remind people that the office is closed due to the Provincial lock down.

Council meetings have returned to the Zoom format.

David Jewett has been hired as equipment/loader operator.

Anyone requiring assistance in any Municipal issue is urged to call the municipal office.

The Emo Legion Branch #99 is closed to the public because of the recent provincial lock down.

Congratulations to Mathew Bohler and Simone Marchand on the arrival of their daughter Amelia Victoria Anne born January 16.
