Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Don Meyers. He was a respected, dedicated man to family, friends and his community. He will be greatly missed by many.
A belated happy 30th birthday to Garnett Cornell. Garnett turned 30 in April 30th. A happy 80th birthday to Sandra Wepruk. Sandra enjoyed her birthday despite COVID-19. Thanks to phone calls, and technology she felt very fortunate with all her well wishers.
A few weeks ago I printed an article on Edith Marsh (Heward) turning 100 years old.
Her sister Gwen Westover, nieces Lucille, Kay, Brenda and a few others travelled to Phoenix to celebrate with Edith. Sadly she fell in her home and underwent surgery. Edith passed away May 2. Fortunately she was in a hospice health care facility and she was with family at her passing. Our community sends out sympathy to the family.
Congratulations to Jane Allan on her retirement from Emo Drugs. Jane was employed at Emo Drugs for over 30 years. Your community, friends and family wish you all the best on tote retirement.
Congratulations to Tim Desjardins and Jessica Woodgate on the birth of their daughter Alexandra Lori Darlene Desjardins. She was born April 16.
Proud grandparents are Lori and Bill Woodgate and Ken and Darlene Desjardins and great grandmothers Helen Cousineau and Annie Desjardins.

One morning, a grandmother was surprised to find that her seven year-old grandson had made her coffee. Smiling, she choked down the worst cup of coffee in her life.
When she finished, she found three little green Army men at the bottom.
Puzzled she asked, “honey what are these Army men doing in my coffee?”
Her grandson answered, “like it says on TV, Grandma, The best part of waking up is soldiers in your cup.”
