The Emo Legion Branch #99 is offering burgers to go this Friday evening. This is due to the fact that their regular beer and burger can not take place inside the Legion due to recent Covid restriction.

The good thing is folks can still enjoy a delicious burger. Call the Legion anytime after 3 p.m. to order and the meals will be available from 5-7 p.m.

Next week April 12-16 is Spring Break for students.

Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Gyslain Lemelin who passed away in March.

Our community is holding you in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

The Emo Walleye Classic will take place this year April 10-11. The fishing tournament will take place virtually this year.

Teams from Canada will fish in the Rainy River and teams from the USA will fish American waters.

Congratulations to Shelley Bruce-Allen in her winnings from the March Riverside Draw. She picketed $26,290. Be sure to purchase a ticket for the next draw which will be held April 30 at 11 a.m.

Here’s hoping all students enjoy their break next week. It will definitely be a different kind of break.

But just think in 20 years, when your kids ask you about the 2020 toilet paper shortage, you can tell them you had to drag your butt across the lawn in snow, uphill both ways.
