Garnet Hands has joined his wife, Violet, at Rainycrest Home for the Aged in Fort Frances. They had been residing at the Golden Age Manor in Emo for the last couple of years.
Unfortunately, health concerns finally took over their lives.
While both were quite active, Garnet raised big gardens each year and Violent helped in every way possible. I also remember Violet working as cook at Sunny Cove Bible Camps.
You can be sure, when healthy, you’d find both regularly attending the Off Lake Covenant Church service. I can still hear Violet singing old tunes (she was exceptionally good at western songs).
