The next “Country Jam” will be taking place on Friday, November 22 in Emo, starting at 7 p.m.
If you enjoy the sounds of old time country music and love to get up and dance, then please mark the date on your calendar.
Admission is only $2, which covers the cost of lighting and heating. The bar will be open as will the kitchen for snacks.
New musicians are always welcome. Please be early and bring your own equipment.

Another “Country Jam” will take place in Barwick on the following evening (Saturday, Nov. 23) beginning at 7 p.m.
Admission is $5, but covers the cost of pop, water and some snacks.
For a fantastic evening of country music and dancing, mark this date on your calendar and plan on attending.

St. Patrick’s Church in Emo is hosting its annual Christmas tea and bake sale on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 1-3 p.m. in their church hall.
Admission will only be $5 and will feature crafts & baking tables.
There will also be pies for sale (meat, apple, and raisin).
This annual event which is sponsored by the Catholic Women’s League includes an open invitation to join them for a wonderful afternoon of Christmas shopping and fellowship.

Community Birthday Calendars are now available for pick up at Meyers’ Clothing.
Make sure you stop by the store to pick up your calendar and check for some Christmas presents for that special someone.

The annual “Holly Daze Sale” features a number of local crafters, bakers, and vendors with an assortment of items for sale/order.
The Emo Legion’s “Holly Daze” soup and sandwich luncheon is offered both Friday and Saturday.
There will also be the Emo Legion penny table with proceeds going towards both the Legion and the Emo Hospital Auxiliary.
Sale will run Friday 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m..

Don’t forget about the dance! Tickets are still available. You can also call to have yours held for you!
We will also selling them at the door the night of the dance (unless we sell out before hand).
We have ride service available for pick up and drop off.
You must call 482-2250 to pre-book your pick up; have your name, number, and address ready!
Club Room hours are Monday-Thursday 3-7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 3-10 p.m.
