The “Country Jam” in Emo on Friday evening was well attended by both dancers and musicians.
Despite it being the weekend of the Fair, the floor was often crowded with enthusiastic dancers. Everyone had a great time.
The next Country Jam will be later in September.
On Sept. 5, some of the musicians will be playing at the Rainy Lake Square in Fort Frances.
Make sure you mark down the date and plan on attending.

Just a reminder that the last night of racing at the Emo Speedway, will be this Saturday, Aug. 24 with racing at 6:30.
It is still a “points” night. The committee is still in need of volunteers for the main gate and 50/50.
Please let them know if you can help out.
Everyone is encouraged to come out and support their favourite driver on the last night of the racing season.
Weather permitting they will be having a BBQ in the pits after the races. Any of the drivers that would like to bring a salad or anything else please do.
