The Rainy River District Fall Fair is upon us, and their slogan, “Come as a stranger, leave as a friend,” is sure to prove true.
The fair takes place tomorrow through Saturday (Aug. 15-17). As always, there will be stock car races both Friday and Saturday night (Aug. 16 and 17)
The mini king/queen contest will be held tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. upstairs at the arena.
The loggers’ competition will take place Friday morning (August 16) beginning at 9 a.m. in front of the grandstand.
The exhibition hall is always a great place to visit, check out all the entries.
The arena will be packed full of displays and interesting information.
There’s much more making up the fair.
Don’t forget the midway and the fabulous food that is available to indulge in.
This year there is the added bonus of many new buildings that have been constructed. I haven’t had the chance to see them but I’ve heard they are absolutely fantastic.
Hope to see you all there.
It always proves to be a way to appreciate our RRDFF and all the effort the fair organizers put into making this a tradition worth keeping.
