It is with great sadness that the family of James Albert Wright announce his passing on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Jim was born on March 30, 1939 in Fort Frances to Ernest and Harriet Wright. He lived in Fort Frances all his life, working as a carpenter. He worked with Ted Davis for many years and developed a lifelong friendship. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be remembered for his good sense of humour.
He leaves behind his siblings Arlene Allan, Margaret (Maurice) Chabot, Glen (Betty) Wright and Wayne Wright as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his good friend Gary Saurer.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Harriet; sister Diane Caron; and brother-in-law Ted Allan.
Cremation has taken place and due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no service at this time.
