Richard B. Kircher

The family of Richard “Dick” Kircher sadly announce his passing on Saturday, May 18, 2002.
Dick was born Nov. 7, 1930 in Dusseldorf, Germany. He emigrated from Germany to Canada in October, 1951. He married Margaret MacKenzie (Maggie) on March 7, 1953.

Upon retirement, Dick’s love of the outdoors and his “Cat” led him to a second career, resulting in a substantial development of the Bear’s Pass area.
Dick was predeceased by his son, James, in 1980.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Margaret; his daughter, Patricia Maskerine; son-in-law, Bernie; son, David; three grandchildren, Nathan and Courtney Maskerine, and Ross Kircher; and brother, George, in Germany.
A memorial service will be held at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances on Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at 2 p.m.
