Dear sir:
As the former Area Director of the Ontario Legal Aid Plan for the District of Rainy River, I found the decision of the members of the Rainy River District Law Association to withdraw their services from Legal Aid Ontario to be highly hypocritical.
Of the 12 lawyers practicing in the District of Rainy River, only four are actively taking on any legal aid matters. What services are the other members withdrawing?
