A pleasure

Dear sir:
Finally, they got it right!
Imagine my pleasant surprise when I drove from Keating Avenue to McIrvine Road at a normal rate of speed (30-50 km/h) and continued on through a green light.
Returning from McIrvine Road to Keating Avenue, the same thing happened.
What a pleasure! Several times now this has happened.
Previously, the only way to make those lights was either by going too slowly (20-24 km/h), which is unacceptable, or by exceeding the speed limit, also unacceptable.
Instead, we have been forced to stop at each end while the vehicles lined up from six to a dozen—frustrating and unnecessary.
Traffic lights are meant not only for safety, but also to facilitate the flow of traffic, not impede it.
Yours truly,
Joe Kliner
