Stuff-A-Cruiser looking for volunteers

The annual Stuff-A-Cruiser takes place December 4 at area stores, including Cloverleaf Grocery. Volunteers are needed – high school students can earn volunteer hours through this worthy event.

Stuff-A-Cruiser in Emo supports the Emo Food Bank. Please contact Charlene at 486-3455 or 275-8841.

Emo will be hosting its annual Holly Daze December 3 and 4. The parade is being organized and will be offering hot chocolate and cookies throughout the parade. Here’s hoping the fireworks will arrive and there will be an evening of fireworks to top of the night.

Holly Daze Crafts Galore takes place at the Emo Legion both December 3 and 4. With soup and bun being sold.

Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of John Vanderaa. It was always a true delight to talk to John and his wife Anne. Always caring thoughts for people. John will be sadly missed. Prayers to his family that will miss this truly good man.

Also sincere sympathy to the family and many, many friends of Ted Corrigan. Ted always a smile, twinkle in his eyes and a book of tickets with a pen. You weren’t getting away from Ted without purchasing. He was a great community person. Ted will be sadly missed but never forgotten for his kind spirit.

Hats off to the many people that made up the amazing production of All Together Now. The play ran three days and brought enjoyment to many. Special tribute to Katherine Bruyere (director) and Renee Martin-Brown (music director) for their hours and diligence given to make this a huge success.

Robin’s 2 cents.

A friend’s wife left him. She said she was going out for milk and never came back.

When his long time friend asked him how he was coping, he said, “Not bad. I’ve been using some of that powdered stuff.”
