Muskie Football Discount card blitz night–On Sept. 12, starting from 7 p.m. the Fort Frances Highschool Muskies Football team will be blitizing in Fort Frances and Emo to sell their discount cards. Players will be going door to door selling cards for $20. Businesses included this year includ McTaggarts, 4 Your Pets, Boston Pizza, Tagg’s Source for Sports and many more.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation–A full slate of events has been scheduled for Sept. 30. A collaboration between local organizations begins with a walk from Sorting Gap Marina to the Residential School Monument at the Nanicost Grounds. The walk will be followed by Elders sharing their healing stories, and the day will end with a powwow.
Tai Chi in the Park will be held rain or shine every Wednesday at 11 a.m., in Lion’s Park. In the event of rain, the group will move into the library.

The Muskie Touchdown Club is a volunteer organization comprised of parents of Muskie Football players. The club raises funds to pay for equipment and travel for the football program.
