Joy Kpabitey, right, got her flu shot from Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU) public health nurse Miranda Sigurdson during the NWHU's flu shot clinic held at the old St. Michael's School building on Monday. the Health Unit is holding a number of additional clinics for those who haven't yet gotten their flu shot this year, including one from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"Moosical" moose

Town workers and Copper River Inn employees worked to haul the most famous moose in Fort Frances to its new-new home at the hotel yesterday afternoon. Formerly at the Fort Frances tourism building, the moose was moved out to the airport earlier this year before the Copper River Inn managed to secure it a special spot in their main entrance.

Happy Halloween

Kids and families in Fort Frances had a handful of ways to celebrate Halloween this year. Some went with special socially distanced trick or treating using pre-set tables or chutes, and others like Weechi-it-te-win Family Services had grab and go treat bags on offer from their First Street East location.
