Lipinski twins to join Beavers

Twin brothers Lyndon and Bryce Lipinski will share a dressing room yet again this fall.
It was announced yesterday that the former Fort Frances Lakers’ forwards have committed to play this upcoming season with the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Minot State University Beavers in Minot, N.D.

The Grande Prairie, Alta. natives finished their junior eligibility in style—helping the Lakers win their first SIJHL title this past season.
Lyndon had 91 points in 56 games during the regular season for Fort Frances, and was an SIJHL second-team all-star while playing on the “DLM Line” with Lucas DeBenedet and Mason Meyer.
Bryce, meanwhile, had 51 points in 54 games, and also was a key penalty-killer and face-off specialist for the Lakers.
The Lipinskis are the second and third members of the Lakers to make a college commitment for the fall.
Forward Patrick Sofer earlier signed with the Aurora University Spartans in Aurora, Ill.
