Young girl approached

On April 15 around 3:20 p.m., police received a report that a male driving a medium-sized pickup truck pulled up to a young girl walking on Roy Street in Emo.
The driver began asking the youth some questions and at one point appeared to be unclasping his seat belt.

When a marked OPP cruiser approached the area, the vehicle immediately left.
The girl then went home and advised her parents of the event, and police were contacted.
The vehicle is described as silver or gray in colour, with a red or maroon topper.
The driver is described as a First Nations’ male in his late 40s-50s, with wrinkled skin, medium-length, messy black hair, and one eye that squinted.
The male was wearing a maroon T-shirt with “American Eagle” on the back, as well as a chain bracelet.
He also had a skull and heart tattoo on his left arm.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
