Literacy Day

Literacy Day

Dolores VanCauwenberghe and her grandson, Emitt McCrory, shared some quality time in Carla Harris’ Grade 1 classroom perusing the Dr. Seuss classic, “There’s a Wocket in my Pocket,” during Family Literacy Day at St. Michael’s School yesterday. The school used the theme “Seuss and Soup” as part of the day’s festivities, which saw numerous students dress up as Dr. Seuss characters while the public was invited to check out the school’s literacy program.
