Mill shutting for holidays

The Resolute Forest Products mill here will be shut down over the Christmas holidays.
Paper production will cease from Dec. 21 until Jan. 7, Xavier Van Chau, director of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for Resolute, told the Times.

About 150 employees will be impacted during the two-week outage.
The curtailment is due to market conditions.
Paper machine #7 was idled indefinitely back on Dec. 2.
It had been idled in April but then restarted in mid-July, when 50-60 workers were brought back to work on a temporary basis.
