Mini-royalty contestants sought
There still are many spots open for the any children wishing to vie for the titles of Emo Fair “Mini King” and “Mini Queen” this year.
The event goes next Thursday (Aug. 15) at 6:30 p.m. upstairs at the Emo Arena, although the youngsters and their parents are asked to come slightly earlier.
The process is very simple, Croswell assured.
She asks the parents about their children beforehand, then reigning Emo Fair Queen Destiny Woolsey will ask the children a few questions during the event.
“Short and sweet,” Croswell said, noting it will run about half-an-hour.
“The ones who are crowned will have the opportunity to ride on the [parade] float on Saturday,” she added.
Following the “Mini King/Queen” event, the Emo Fair queen competition will continue with its “Entertainment Night” and then crowning.
