Youths hurt in crash

Dryden OPP officers responded to a single-vehicle accident yesterday on Highway 17 west of Thunder Lake Road.
The accident occurred when a westbound minivan carrying five Sioux Lookout youths struck ice and spun out, causing the vehicle to roll several times.

All five occupants were taken to the Dryden Regional Health Centre and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 17 was closed for about an hour to assist the injured. The incident remains under investigation.
