Muskies beat Warriors

After giving up a goal just nine seconds into the game, the Muskie boys’ hockey quickly rebounded to earn a 5-2 win over the host Sioux Lookout Warriors last night.
“It was a good game all around,” noted Muskie coach Ed Vold.

“We gave up that goal very early, but right after that we took advantage down low and we worked hard to get our goals,” he said.
“Overall, it was a good result for us.”
Scoring details were not available by press time this morning.
The Muskies now will look to wrap up home-ice advantage for the NorWOSSA playoffs when they visit the Red Lake Rams on Tuesday night (Feb. 12).
Prior to that, the squad will hold its annual tea and bake sale tomorrow (Feb. 9) from 2-4 p.m. at the Fort High cafeteria.
Admission is $4 (free for season-ticket holders).
